Nybro has achieved their goal in the design and manufacture of the most outstanding innovation for special needs rehabilitation. So impressed were the NRMA & Staff, they utilised their fund-raising talents to start putting the ATV-XM in the hands of Children's Hospitals and individuals throughout Australia. Previously having to import a special type of wheelchair from Europe at nearly twice the price of the ATV-XM, they are now excited that they will be able to provide more than they had originally hoped to. The bike is used as a rehabilitation vehicle to get the kids out into the world and back into the community and the kids are loving it. The stylish and "spacey" look of the ATV-XM excites both the rider and the onlookers, eventuating in the rider being inundated with people wanting to have a ride.

This is the exact result targeted, as it builds the confidence of the rider going through the rehabilitation and that they are not made to feel that they are "disabled" because they are riding on a wheelchair. The ATV-XM can be made as a Four Wheel Drive go-anywhere vehicle or the standard Two Wheel Drive. It has independently adjustable footplates for all ranges of leg length, a sliding adjustable backrest, seatbelt and adjustable arm rests. It is speed controlled to Mobility Scooter Australian Standards and is therefore suitable for most age groups and can carry passengers up to 130kgs.
