PROJECT ATV DETAILS

"Project ATV" is a 'hybrid' raffle. It facilitates fund-raising for your organisation whilst promoting new, positive habits to the up-coming generation, introducing electric vehicles and educating everyone involved. All the hard work has been done for you in this complete package, which includes absolutely everything needed for a smooth-running and successful fund-raiser.

The package contains:

PRIZES

The top 5 ticket sellers will have the opportunity to test-ride an additional ATV that will accompany a Nybro Representative for supervised use on the day of the prize presentation. They will also receive a Venture ATV T-shirt.

The same representative will be available on the day to answer any questions and, if suitable to school policy, will give educational presentations to student groups on methods and examples of eco-friendly living. This could also be coordinated with a visit from your local energy provider on how they are taking steps to promote new energy sources.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Each teacher fills out the student registration form. This form will record the number of Student Packs issued and returned by each student.

The resealing plastic bag includes an identification tag, upon which each student's name is written. The tag will have school details already printed upon it. The bag will serve to keep the Student Pack together, to protect tickets and facilitate the return of all monies raised to the school or the P & C for fund allocation.

The letter to parents outlines "Project ATV" and why this 'hybrid' raffle would be beneficial to the school and to the student's education on environmental issues. It encourages the parents to actively participate and invites the parents to contact, if so desired, the school or the P & C to find out how the funds will be allocated. A date is also indicated for the closing of ticket sales and when the draw will take place. If the raffle has been sponsored by local businesses, then the sponsors would also be mentioned in this letter.

Brochures of the Venture ATV are used to display the 1st prize and may be kept by students when all tickets are sold.

Tickets will be sold for $2.00 each and are specially printed with your school name and phone number on them. A total of 5000 tickets will be printed, with these being bound into books of 10 for easy sale.

The follow up letter to parents is given to students to take home one week prior to the end of the raffle. This letter thanks them for their help and is a friendly reminder to ensure the return of all collected monies by the due date.

More Student/Teacher Packs and tickets can be supplied for a small additional cost.

COSTS

Your school could afford this project with the temporary use of P & C and school funds, a sponsor or an underwriter. We have two payment plans for your convenience.

• An initial deposit of $2,500 is paid to start the project. When the deposit is received, we will then pass on to you all that you need to conduct the raffle. Ticket books, advertising brochures, all rules and instructions, as well as some great ideas to make it the most exciting fund raising project ever. The balance of payment is to be paid on completion of the raffle and before delivery of the prizes.

• An initial deposit of $1,000 is paid to start the project. When this initial deposit is received, we will then pass on to you all that you need to conduct the raffle. The remaining deposit of $1,500 is to be paid within 30 days of the initial deposit. The balance of payment is to be paid on completion of the raffle and before delivery of the prizes.

The total deposit of $2,500 is approximately 25% of the expected gross income generated by the "Project ATV" raffle, and it also equates to 50% of our costs.

This deposit could be paid directly from your available P & C or school funds. Alternately, local businesses could sponsor the project, increasing your raffle profits. In return, the letter that is sent to parents would mention the support and generosity of these businesses and their names would be displayed as sponsors upon the tickets.

If a sponsor could not be found, a business or individuals may wish to support the school and temporarily fund the project by the use of personal funds or credit cards. This deposit would be returned by the school or P & C, to the underwriter(s) at completion of the raffle and before any profit is allocated.

The total cost of "Project ATV" is only $5,000+gst. Offset against an expected income of $10,000 this fund-raising project is both affordable and profitable.

The controlling parties must sign a contract with Nybro Holdings Pty Ltd. The contract will state the dates, time periods, and prizes offered by Nybro as part of the project costs. A Nybro representative will contact you to organize the arrangement and ensure that all the legal aspects of your raffle are in place.

INTRODUCTION KIT

This kit is a preliminary package for "Project ATV". It includes a compact disc with video footage of the Venture ATV which demonstrates how safe and fun this electric All Terrain Vehicle is for all ages, a copy of each of the five different packs used and five copies of this document to facilitate a presentation to associated colleagues. A contract for "Project ATV" is also included along with payment details. The kit costs $34.95 (includes GST and postage). This cost will be refunded to you upon participation in Nybro's dynamic new concept.

SUCCESS

A principal recently wrote an article in his primary school's newsletter, in which he expressed his delight at the wonderful cooperative spirit the students from the senior classes were showing. He believed the students had learnt to show great initiative and to spontaneously tackle tasks that need to be completed with courage. I'm sure the Principal was taking great pride and joy in seeing the fruition of his school's mission statement, 'To provide quality education enabling our children to face the future with confidence'.

Along with seeing the students learning to take responsibility for their own actions, he recognised these same students were becoming role models for the younger students.

For this reason, I would like to compare the deposit for this fund-raiser with these senior students. The school provided the education and the platform for the students to expand and develop to their full potential. The deposit will allow you to expand and develop your fund-raising ability to your highest level ever. I would like instil confidence in you by emphasising that 'Focus and Goal-setting' intentionally pre-exists in the structure of "Project ATV".
