Standard Breather |
The Standard Breather was developed as a high quality cylindrical
drier to remove moisture from the breathing air of large
transformers and oil tanks. It utilises 5mm thick Pyrex glass for its main
cylindrical components, stock aluminium for end plates and oil bath,
316 stainless steel for all tie rods, fasteners and protective gauze. It
features a special two section baffle arrangement in the oil bath to prevent
contamination of the gel with oil.
The Standard Breather also boasts a baffling system contained inside the
silica gel to maximise the extraction ability of the
gel. The standard breather comes in 6 sizes and can
be coupled together with a special manifold for
larger oil quantities. Available for these breathers
are unique barrier filters developed by Nybro to
replace the oil bath.
